It's true. she's a short time girl. HAHA. I just thought of that a while ago, I mean I do have a short time because of the NET. It's really because of the net. LOLOL. WELL. Haha so much for blogging, I almost forgot that I had one. ANYWAY. WOW, I'm going through some changes, yes some. I just recently watched We Got Married Episodes of SeoHyun and I was like, she reads books with the Self-improvement genre. HAH I want to read some too, like that book she read which said "Don't be a fashion victim, etc." haha, it was really cool.

BLABBER mouth. So how am I really? I think the past weeks were tiring. We're already on our summer vacation, pretty cool huh?
However I am not really enjoying it because of the slooooow connection in the internet and the noisy dogs that I'm hearing every day, every night. ACK.
I'm pretty much hyperventilating about the comeback and the repackaged album of Oh! which turned into Run Devil Run hahaha.
The controversy between Ke$ha and SNSD was closed when they proved that SM Entertainment bought that Run Devil Run from Ke$ha. hahaha pretty cool song anyway, hope you'll enjoy the videos below. :)

HAHA, yes it's a bit biased for me to have a title like that today. You know why? Caaause I'm so happy and excited and well nervous, of Girls' Generation's comeback on February and I'm reaaaaallly waiting for their comeback. I really hope that they'll be having good songs on that Girls' Generation Vol. 2: Oh! album. I wish The song and all of them will be successful.

Gah, I really don't like the cheering outfits eh. The concepts weird and American-ish. It's really durr because Asians keep mimicking Americans and putting their songs onto that theme but being an Asian is unique. Keep your culture guys!

Anyway. back from the hospital, I had an X-ray and check up on my lungs. It turned normal. I thought it was the end of the world really. :)) XD Oh well, too bad.

NO, he’s not a cyber-stalker. Or a group of psychology students doing a project. Or the government in disguise. Pablo Banila is a real person, but he’s not the crazy lowlife that people thought he was.

When the first Pablo Banila article came out in 2bU two weeks ago, we were swamped with hundreds of letters and blog comments from readers. The sentiments expressed in the mail were varied; they ranged from “Pablo Banila gives me the chills too,” to “He’s a psycho who not only views my Multiply site, but Friendster as well,” to “He’s actually a genius who was just misunderstood.”

Most of the readers were curious about his identity and wanted to know who he was, while a few thought an article about him was a waste of precious newspaper space. “Argh, you gave him more attention!” said a friend, wringing his hands. Another said, “Unbelievable, you made him famous! But in any case, he still gives off bad vibes and he’s still flooding my viewing history page with his gazillion accounts.” A blog reader was more blunt, saying, “Big deal. Slow news day?”

But in either case, Pablo Banila certainly caught your attention—and apparently, the article caught his too, because he e-mailed 2bU to give the real deal on his identity. He had explained his intentions in a UP Multiply blog at http://yoopee.multiply.com/journal/item/4805, but only a handful of internet users knew about it (compared to the millions of sites that he “visited”).

Pablo Banila—Paolo Bantolo in real life—has been called many names in the past couple of months, and a lot of them weren’t too nice. “Creepy” was the first thing that came to mind when Multiply and Friendster users first saw the avatar that showed a guy with matted chin-length hair and a sign that flashed, “Yes, Pablo Banila has a crush on you hahahaha! That’s why he viewed your homepage, cute nun!”

The reactions that the avatar elicited were interesting. Initially, people truly believed that the mysterious Pablo Banila had a crush on them, gender notwithstanding—until they visited his site and realized that they were duped.

“Before I opened up a guestbook, there were three general reactions from three kinds of people,” said Bantolo in an e-mail interview. “First, from the genuinely curious—people asking me if they do know me; in other words, people who did not bother reading my profile, the naked confession of everything I am.”

He added, “[The next were] from the genuinely infatuated—schoolgirls and baby boys telling me that I can be their boyfriend anytime! The rest were people with a sense of humor. Interestingly, most of my most passionate haters honestly believed that I had a crush on them until the grand opening of ‘Pablo Banila’s Never-ending Guestbook Party.’ [Then] they found out it wasn’t only them.”

The truth is, Pablo Banila never really visited every website where his avatar appeared—his bots did. An anonymous reader who identified himself as a retired hacker explained, “Pablo Banila actually is a programmer who uses a program called ‘web crawler.’ Web crawlers were originally used by search engines such as Google and Yahoo to automatically browse web pages on the internet. [This is done so they can] save the data on their database and make an index list of the web pages on the Internet.”

The reader added, “This is all done using a program. A program with a standard DSL connection can browse 10 sites every second, 600 sites every minute and 36,000 sites every hour—roughly 864,000 Multiply sites every day.”

Others who were already in the know admitted that he was a computer genius, if only slightly off his rocker. News that he came from top schools (Bantolo graduated from the Philippine Science High School and went on to study Computer Science at the University of the Philippines Diliman before transferring to New York University; he is currently a graduate student at California Riverside) only fueled the speculations about his being a crazy genius.

Others expressed their admiration and marveled at how he was able to pull off the scheme; others, like Multiply user “emocantbevanity” said, “He’s such a weirdo … why can’t he just get a life or something? Is he that much of a genius, that’s why he became a weirdo? Oh well, moral lesson—don’t be a genius and learn to socialize with other people so you wouldn’t become the country’s biggest weirdo!”

“I never thought of my viewing activity as stalking,” Bantolo said. “It was casual web surfing. What made the difference was my classic welcome message that penetrated the unawareness of the unspoken hope the viewing history promises in an avatar of a Lesbian in Shining Armor. I can honestly say that I wanted to meet new friends, and, ultimately, build a bridge of chance towards my one true love.”

According to Bantolo, he chose Multiply and Friendster “for the high demographic of Filipinos. And because I have not tried making new friends in other networks—but I will! Pretty soon!”

He added, “I wish I could click on millions of headshots for hours in a day, for that would’ve been like playing my favorite game, Counter-Strike; but that’s just impossible in my already inhumane schedule as a working student.”

And as for stalking—as soon as it was established that the only pages “Pablo Banila” visited were the homepages of the sites, which are essentially open to public viewing (as Multiply and Friendster have contacts-only lock options)—his viewing activities can hardly be counted as harassment.

Multiply user “agnestherese” said, “Pablo Banila is hardly a stalker. He only views homepages, not blogs or photos. I think that those who make such a big deal out of it, more specifically all the hate blogs, are self-centered or maybe just hurt when they found out that Pablo Banila has a crush on them … and everyone else.”

“Public domain is public domain,” Bantolo explained. “If they felt harassed in any way, it was because I kept exercising my right to view their public profile.” He further attributed the public’s fear and irritation to his “scarecrow headshot.”

He said, “People read about accusations, libel and death threats against me written on my guestbook. I am hated in exactly the same way other human beings discriminate against blacks, Muslims, and homosexuals.”

Bantolo added, “I performed the same routine using stereotypical images of innocence (young, attractive and female) at the same duration and received virtually no reaction.”

Actually, the entire issue is moot and academic, as “Pablo Banila” has already retired and given up his homepage-viewing days. But many users, unaware of what happened, remained in the dark for the past few weeks. As a final note, Bantolo quoted the California Penal Code’s definition of stalking:

Any person who willfully, maliciously, and repeatedly follows or harasses another person and makes a credible threat with the intent to place that person in reasonable fear for his or her safety is guilty of the crime of stalking.

“Credible threat” means a verbal or written threat, including that performed through the use of an electronic communication device.

He clarified, “I am not making a ‘credible threat’ nor do I intend to ‘place any person in reasonable fear for his or her safety.’”

So again, I've been tagged by ate Keiti, this time the mechanics are:

haha, that's easy. because are house is small, I don't have problems typing and having hand-aches. haha! p.s. I don't have pictures of our house. XD sorry!
First, outside our house, you'll see a horrible gate we call "THE GATE". Why is it horrible? Because it's so rusty and we haven't replaced it. HAHA. As you enter the gate, by now you'll see a home within a forest. LITERALLY. Our "bakuran" and "kapitbahay" has farms, yeah! They have "manukan" and they had 2 pigs, but I think they already ate it. Well back in our house, to the left(the view when you enter the gate) is the mini garden, with two dogs, Polar and Apples who are housebroken. Our other dog named Einstein was given to our other old helper. To the right is the soon to be bakery of our parents. You'll see their the big thinggamajig which we call "The BIG oven" with all the other thinggamajigs and you'll see the forest. haha. If you go a little further, you'll see the garage or as I call the tambakan ng basura part.

Let's get back to the front of the house, well some say we are rich but we aren't! I tell you when you see our house. Then if you enter the door, you'll first see the Christmas tree, then the sofa bed and two small chairs. Front of the sofa bed is the TV for watching movies and stuff, the industrial electric fan, the DVD player and big speakers, which I call Papa's HOME THEATER. Then at the back of the sofa are the cabinets for the books, and the other DVD player which we use for playing tapes listening to FM/AM and inserting the microphone for VIDEOKE. haha.

When you walk a little further, you'll see 3 rooms, the first room to the left is our room, Tita, Abi and Me sleep there, even the cat sleeps there! haha. Yeah, the closet and stuffs are there. Then on the middle room, is the CR! cooley. hahaha. Next to the right is Mama and Papa's room, full of books and stuff, and the 3rd computer is there, which I think is working.

If you go back to the middle of the house, there is the 1st and 2nd computer, which still is working for 8 LONG YEARS and the dining aisle. haha. why I call it aisle because it's small. hahaha. BUT I LOVE the scenery outside the windows, it's like a mini forest of some sort. Yeah, we literally have trees and leaves and moss growing outside the house, it's a nice place to take pictures of bugs, trees, flowers and even snakes! yes, we have snakes on our house, LITERALLY. Our cat can catch one, she killed 4 snakes I think. Anyway, on the dining aisle, there is the 2nd T.V for watching and the cabinet for CD's. We have tons of CD's I tell you. Then on the left, there is the Cabinet for our school stuff, books, and a lot of em! Yes, our parents love reading and so do we. :D

Then, you'll see at the top are the groceries and food and stuff. Then if you walk a little further, which is the end of our house, which is the kitchen! Yeah, the big ref, and the sink, the oven, and this is where our helper sleeps. XD Cooley. There is another door on the left, and that is the gateway to the Big Big forest. Yes. Borscha/Porscha and Tom sometimes visit us, if they aren't sniffing around somewhere else, and that is where our cat sometimes play. So that's it. That's our house. I can't have a picture of our house now. I'll try sometime. XD

I recently heard there would be a tv adaptation of twilight on ABS CBN. I mean, I had enough already of the book and the movie,(ack I'm not a fan alright) and I'm already fed up with it. tapos ngayon, they're doing a tv adaptation! what a contract! hahahaha! anyway.

Yesterday, we had a church-school ministry in PGH [Philippine General Hospital] in Ermita, Manila. Yeah, it was fun, the orientation in Makati was okay too.

The ward we were assigned to is ward 7 and ward 5.
Ward 5 is to the Neuro-psych ward.
Ward 7 is the Psych ward.

HAHA. You know what? Those wards were for me, really. Because I am fit for those wards.

Neuro-psych ward has something to do with their brain, literally.
Psych ward deals with, something on their brains. Like, uh. BALIW SILA.

what. hahaha. natatawa talaga ako sa mga tao sa multiply. pag nag ggroup ppm ako sasabihin wag daw ako isali sa group pm-s nila. eh kapag nagbblog naman ako di naman din nila mababasa yung announcement ko kasi matatabunan na yun ng mga napakaraming update ng mga contacts nila. kaya sa tingin ko magsstay na ako muna sa blogger. wahaha. ANYWHO BALLYWHO.

I watched all the episodes of Domo-kun in NHK on that some sort of myspace videos thinggy. It has english subs. TEH KEWLY. and well yeah, I practically laughed but I didn't understand what was happening, I think the video editor cut some of the scenes, but I think it was really like that in NHK.

Haay, ako. ewan. Feeling ko hindi ako dedicated sa mga ginagawa ko sa ministries. I get so tired easily. Di ko kasi gustong maging C.E teacher no. :)) SINO BA ME GUSTO NUN?! haha. joke, ewan basta I wished I knew what ministry I could be dedicated to. But I have to do my best, being dedicated has to be voluntary becaaaaaause, well I dunno. I just have to do my best for the Lord. He doesn't want to be upset right? of course right.

Well, I miss my highschool. Quezon City Science High School has gotten way lower this year. I dunno, I just don't feel the old standards of Quesci, and their standing, ugh. I just don't like the principal, and the students, annnd. well, nothing much has changed in Kisay. Xientian. Xientian days, oh well.

I also miss UST, well yeah. I miss my class mates there, a lot of them. Tsk. I just miss the 'ol UST buildings, and the environment. but oh well.

I am getting old, I feel the signs of aging, rheumatism, stiff necks, back pain, shoulder pain, oh yes, you name it I GOT IT disease is here! :| Every time, I move my neck or feet in the wrong way, and it's time for a NO-NO moveey-toucheey-speakey-me. Yes, literally, when I have my rheumatisms, I can't move, I don't want someone to touch that part and I can't speak. ACK. All of this because of me being a kid who's soooooooooo.

IRRESPONSIBLE.

I miss Anna Lissa, I miss talking to her. and considering her my best friend. but I do not have one anyway. (Except Jesus of course) but speaking in a "wordly" way. I do not have a best friend. Not one. I might not consider you, reader, being my best friend. I dunno, I just don't trust people, I am such a pessimist. and I am not yet finished with my homework in intro to missions. X_X

The Fiddler on the Roof.

You know what amazes me about musicals, it's not just entertaining, it's even educational. (of course you know that.)
Whimsical, musical. haha. Just something random eh. I miss watching Sound of Music, The Fiddler on the Roof, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory(1952 version), Sister Act and sorts of stuff like these. So I keep on watching them once in a while. HAHA. More on these later. I sorta have to watch it right now.

I just got tired last night so I didn't update my post. hahaha. Today is a Saturday, hm. I've been watching Fiddler and I noticed some facts/triva about Jews:
1. They don't believe in Jesus Christ/No mentioning of His name.
2. They always mention God. haha. of course.
3. They are allowed to drink beer/gin/tar/whatever that transparent liquid is.
4. They like dancing.
5. Maybe it's just in the movie but in real life they aren't allowed to do that.
6. Or this movie was themed in the Tzarist Russia (1905 or so)
7. Most of the Jews live within another community.

So yeah, the movie really is good, aside from it being a musical, I can relate to some issues, because, well yeah, studying at a Bible school helps.

I have some problems with the connection, and the wi-fi's not working! Irk.
Have you tried the expression "Irk" before? I just see this expression on comic books like Archie, Marvel and the like.

Back to Fiddler.
I really am amazed at that guy playing the violin, or the "Fiddler" by his common name. He has no dialogues, I just don't know from the book or the play if he speaks too, but it seems he doesn't. He's like a foreshadowing effect of what Jews are like today, hanging on from today's standards and maintaining their traditions without touching anyone. Like what Tevye says in the intro: Anatevka is our home, and like a Fiddler on the roof, we keep our balance in our Traditions.

Traditions, I remember what my teacher in Theology I in UST taught us about. There's a small t for tradition and a big T for Tradition. I just can't remember what the difference is. XDD Sorry. hahaha.

you know what, I'm starting to feel it. I am. I think. No I don't both feel and think. I HEAR IT.

I know, God called me, but it isn't there.. it isn't. I just know that I've been on fire for God a lot of years now. But I just know, after new heights, and all those lessons I heard from my teachers, I am starting to realize God has a bigger plan for me.

But this doesn't mean I'm backing out at FEBIAS. Not. Yet? Maybe. No, I'm not. I just knew there was something wrong before. I thought I was called here but it WAS ME who urged myself to be here. Not God. I was so confused. I am starting to realize the consequences of being the past BIPOLAR I was. oops, too much information for you to know. NO ONE'S READING THIS ANYWAY!

HAHA. I just watched something cool, look for Naturally 7 in youtube. They're a cool acapella group, they make their own sounds, from drums to basses, electric guitar to trumpets. IT'S JUST SO TEH KEWL. Right!
